WHAT IS A MEMBRANE SWITCH PANEL?
The difference between flexible Membrane switches and a rigid membrane switch panel is that a membrane switch is flexible and a panel is not. Both are electronic input devices made up of multiple layers bonded together using pressure sensitive adhesives to create a completely sealed and ultra-thin profile. Usually including a graphic overlay or a rubber keypad as the top layer. Having multi-layered construction creates endless options for appearance and function.
By adding die cutting to the process, engineers can achieve nearly any shape making membrane switch panels a perfect solution across multiple industries.
